Mr. William Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of EGS LLC
Mr. Edwards has 38 years of international operations, development, executive and entrepreneurial experience.  He has lived in 7 countries and has directed projects in 66 countries.  He has published over 20 articles and speaks around the world on licensingand business development. He has published the GlobalVue™ country-ranking tool quarterly since 2001. A Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), Mr. Edwards is a Member of the ICFE Board of Governors of the International Franchise Association and a member of the IFA Supplier Forum. He is also an Instructor on international licensing for the ICFE program. Since founding EGS in 2001, Mr. Edwards has advised more than 50 US companies in the licensing, manufacturing, retail and restaurant sectors on their international development in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

Ms. Rosemarie Hartnett, President, Abrakadoodle
Rosemarie Hartnett is Co-Founder and President of Abrakadoodle Inc., currently the largest U.S. based franchisor in children’s art educational services.  Ms. Hartnett oversees all Abrakadoodle’s operations, franchise support, sales, growth initiatives and training services worldwide.  She is also a member of the ICFE Board of Governors for the International Franchise Association and is a well known advocate for women in franchising.  She is a member of the International Franchise Association’s Women’s Franchise Committee, Co-Chair of the Women’s Franchise Network in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and northern VA area and served as Chair of the International Franchise Association’s Women’s Franchise Committee’s Mentoring Task Force for Women.

As a Certified Franchise Executive, Ms. Hartnett has spoken on franchising worldwide, including seminars and workshops through the International Franchise Association, the Capitol Area Franchise Association, of which she served as President and at universities and franchise seminars worldwide.

Mr. Miltos Michaelas, Director, International Business Banking, Marfin Laiki Bank
He joined Laiki Group originally in February 1992, in the newly formed Laiki Factors Ltd.  In 1995, he moved to the Corporate and Institutional Banking Unit in Larnaca, and in early 1998 moved to the same unit in Nicosia, firstly as the Assistant Manager, and then as the Unit Manager. In 1998, Miltos took a leading role in the flotation of a major supermarket chain, and in late 1999 resigned Laiki Group to lead Petrolina Group into the Cyprus Stock Exchange. He rejoined Laiki in 2001, where he took over the top position in Laiki Bank (Australia) Ltd the Group's newly formed Bank in Australia. He served as the General Manager of the Australian subsidiary for 5 years, before returning to Cyprus in late 2006.  He has been serving as the Director of the International Business Banking Division since then, and is a member of the Bank's Core Leadership team.

Dr. Tom  Davis, Director of the Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute (CAARI)
Dr. Thomas W. Davis's archaeological career has spanned more than 30 years. Oxford Press has recently published his revised dissertation under the title: Shifting Sands: The Rise and Fall of Biblical Archaeology (2004). Since 2003, Dr. Davis has been the Director of CAARI. In Cyprus he has served as Co-Principal Investigator for the Politiko Troullia survey and the Kourion Mapping Project. His current research also includes the East Frontier Archaeological Project in the Sinai, Egypt, where he has been Field Director at the site of Tell el Borg since 2000. He has published more than 30 articles on a variety of archaeological topics.

Mr. John Harris, International Marketing Manager, Crestcom
International Marketing Manager for Crestcom International since 2002, John leads the training department for new licensees and coaches them to success. John has traveled to over 35 countries meeting prospective Crestcom licensees and working with existing authorized Crestcom distributors. He has been a featured keynote speaker at AmCham, leadership and IFA conferences, worldwide.  Prior to Crestcom, John was a master trainer & speaker for the Tom Peters Company, facilitating workshops in leadership, communication, customer service, building a more powerful brand and WOW Projects. He has a Masters Degree in Education and a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card.

Mr. Mike Shattuck, President, International Operations, Focus Brands
Mr. Shattuck has over 36 year’s foodservice experience with several brands. His focus has been on the development and expansion of international operations for the last 28 years. With experience in launching brands in over 60 markets and having lived overseas for 7 years Mike has firsthand knowledge of the challenges experienced in taking brands international. Mike is currently the President of International Operations for FOCUS Brands overseeing the development and operations for Cinnabon, Carvel, Schlotzsky’s, Moe’s and Seattle’s Best Coffee (in select international markets). Mike has successfully pioneered four brands in international markets.

Dr. John M. Kalogerakis, CEO, JMK Ltd
Dr. Kalogerakis received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Strathclyde in UK.  He is the CEO of JMK Ltd, the Training & Development company in Athens & Nicosia, which specializes in Anthropocentric Human Resource Development. From 1982 to 1993, he worked in a number of managerial positions for national & multinational companies in the UK and Greece. He has also developed a number of franchise chains in Greece, Cyprus, rest of Europe, & M. East. Since 1993 he has lectured regularly on People skills, empowerment, motivation and personal skills development. The programs offered, cover many aspects of soft skill personal development, from Leading with Emotional Intelligence, to Business Ethics and Culture Change. He has given numerous Management Skills Development seminars in 4 continents. The distinct characteristic of all of his seminars is a unique anthropocentric and ethical approach which was developed over the last 28 years of managerial and coaching experience.

Mr. Renos Michaelides Chief Executive Officer Filellinon Estates S.A., Hard Rock Cafe and other companies in Greece
Since January 2007 and on, Mr. Michaelides is the CEO of Filellinon Estates S.A.  Prior to this, he was a partner in a firm, responsible for growth and supervision of overseas business.  He held a number of directorships and participated on the boards of many companies such as J&P (overseas) Construction, Sigma TV Station in Cyprus, Carlsberg Cyprus (Brewing and Trading), and ASTY S.A. (Hotel A Leasure / Marriott hotels).

Mr. Bachir Mihoubi, Managing Director, FranCounsel Group (FCG)
Bachir Mihoubi is founder and Managing Director of FranCounsel Group (FCG), an international franchise consultancy.  Before forming FCG, Mr. Mihoubi worked as an international transactions attorney with several major U.S. law firms, representing both foreign clients doing business in the U.S. and American companies with international business interests.  He was International Corporate Counsel for AFC Enterprises (which operated more than 4,000 cafes, restaurants, and bakeries in the U.S. and internationally). He also served as Director of International Development for Cinnabon, Director of International Development for Seattle’s Best Coffee and Vice President of Global Franchising for Caribou Coffee Company.  Bachir serves as an advisor to several Boards of Directors of major U.S. and Canadian brands.

Ms. Katerina Ginis, Sales & Marketing Manager in Hard Rock Café Athens
Ms. Ginis puts together, implements and interprets the Sales & Marketing budget of the unit.  Maintains, on a daily basis, contact with the media (magazines, newspapers, radio, TV).  Produces all creative materials for events, promotion, and advertising.  Proposes and organizes special parties or events to support brand awareness. She participates in the annual Sales & Marketing Conference and also provides weekly and monthly reports to the GM and to the Regional Director.  She participates in the development of the brand in Greece and Cyprus.

Mr. George Kokkinis, General Manager, Hard Rock Café Athens
Mr. Kokkinis assumed his position as GM of Hard Rock Café Athens in 2007.  He prepares the annual budget and business plan to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant, set financial goals, and plans expenses.  He monitors actual sales and revenues to determine variance and assess goal accomplishments.  Mr. Kokkinis observes coaching and counseling employees’ while they work to ensure adherence to policy and positive guest experience.  He works directly with the Director of OPS regarding sales, new procedures, legal concerns, or other restaurant business and also deals directly with customer relations issues.

Mr. Patrick Lahoud, Colombiano Coffee House Sales & Marketing Manager
Mr. Lahoud has 10 years experience in Sales & Marketing.  He has a University Degree in Business Management.  He was a Business Developer for International Franchises in the Middle East and Arab countries. Mr. Lahoud has a Diploma of Leading and Communicating and Time organizing, Groups Motivation, and Decision Making & Generating Meetings Skills. He is certified as an International Mystery Shopper for International Brands in F&B field.  He is also an Events Management Consultant with 10 years of experience.

Mr. Benjamin Simon, Director of Development, Europe & Africa, Global Franchise Group
Mr. Benjamin Simon currently serves as Director of Development, Europe and Africa, for Global Franchise Group. In this role, Mr. Simon is responsible for franchisee recruitment and the execution of new franchise agreements across a worldwide network of franchise brands from his headquarters in Norcross, Georgia.  Franchise brands owned by Global Franchise Group, LLC and developed by Mr. Simon include TAF®, Shoebox New York®, MaggieMoo’s®, Marble Slab Creamery®, Pretzelmaker®/Pretzel Time® and Great American Cookies®. Global Franchise Group’s franchised brands currently have more than 1,700 store locations in 35 countries around the world.

Mr. Eddy Jimenez, Vice President of International Development & Logistics, Kahala
Mr. Jimenez joined Kahala in September 2004 as a Development Coordinator. Just three months later in December of 2004, he joined the international department as their first full-time employee. Eddy’s role within the international department was Director of International Support, in which he oversaw and provided all pre-opening support to our International Partners, acting as the single point of contact and Project Manager in order to successfully open our initial store(s) in our new international markets. In October 2009, Eddy was promoted toVice President of International Development and Logistics. In addition to overseeing all of the international new market pre-opening support efforts, in this role, heis responsible for international development of several Kahala brands including Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie, Samurai Sam’s, TacoTime, and Great Steak and Potato. His mission is to identify and contract the ideal partners as master franchisees for the development and growth of our Kahala brands throughout the world.

Mr. Panikos Tsiailis, Partner – Member of Management Team Leader – Tax & Legal, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Panikos N Tsiailis is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA).  He is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1986.  He specializes in International Tax Structuring with emphasis on the financial services and real estate industries.  Throughout his career he has been requested to comment and assist in various tax reforms that took place in Cyprus.  His most recent involvement was with the tax reform that was put in effect as a result of Cyprus' accession to the EU.  He assists the Ministry of Finance in tax treaty negotiations.

Mr. Lysandros Ioannou, President of the Board and CEO, PHC Franchised Restaurants Ltd
Lysandros Ioannou is the President of the Board and CEO of PHC Franchised Restaurants Public Ltd.  He worked for Procter & Gamble and Pepsi Cola International in different assignments in various countries.  He has a BSc in Economics, Accounting & Finance from The London School of Economics.  PHC is the Restaurant and Catering Industry leader in Cyprus expanding regionally.  It operates around 60 units (Pizza Hut, KFC, TGI Friday’s, Wagamama, etc) in 3 countries (Cyprus, Greece, Serbia)

Mr. Brian Sant Angelo, International Business Development Officer, Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank USA
Mr. Sant Angelo focuses on marketing the Bank’s programs throughout the Middle East, Turkey, Russia and South and Central Asia as well as maintaining important business relationships for the Bank in the region.  Mr. Sant Angelo has played a key role in the development and structuring of numerous transactions across various industries throughout the region.  Prior to joining Ex-Im Bank, Mr. Sant Angelo had extensive experience as a commercial credit analyst in the banking industry as well as working in a risk analysis capacity for Euler Hermes, a credit insurance company which is part of the Allianz Group.  Mr. Sant Angelo is a Certified International Credit Professional and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Johns Hopkins University and a certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University.

Mr. Paris Zachariades, Executive President, Century 21, Greece and Cyprus
Having earned his MBA from the Manchester Business School in 1993, Mr. Zachariades began his career at the Cyprus International Institute of Management as Special Project Administrator. There he set-up and managed the Executive Courses Department and was promoted to Executive Courses Manager. He then left the post and was offered the challenging position of a newly merged courier service company, Mega Express as General Manager of 14 offices and managers with over 100 staff members. Continuing towards an even more challenging journey, he then co-founded Parma Financial Services Ltd, a stock brokerage company and Member of the Cyprus Stock Exchange. He then turned to real estate and was awarded in 2006 the CENTURY 21 master franchise for the regions of Greece and Cyprus, which he heads now as Executive President.  Mr. Zachariades is the Franchise Committee President of the Cyprus-American Business Association.
